KIISS: High-Level Tools for User Interface Development
The KIISS (Knowledge Interface Interactive Surgery System) project has been devoted to the creation of tools that simplify the development of user interfaces with a high level of context-sensitive features, providing support over a wide interval of their lifecycle. The project includes the development of a) a user interface model editor for the interactive design and modification of interfaces, using programming by example techniques, and b) a high-level tool to complete the design with the automatic creation of a context-sensitive help system that can be adapted to the application semantics.
